Chittagong Bureau :
A murder case against 10 persons including six police officials has been lodged before the Chittagong Metropolitan Magistrate court yesterday.
The case lodged following the death of one Md. Rokunuzaman (40) under police custody in Panchalaish thana on June 18 last. Wife of the victim Shimu Akhter filed the case before the CMM court yesterday as plaintiff and the court ordered the Deputy Commissioner of Police(DB) to submit inquiry report as alleged in the prayer.
The alleged accused in the case are SI of Panchalaish thana Amir Hossain, ASI of Bakalia thana Enayet Hossain, three constable of Panchalaish thana viz. Mizanur Rahman, Moslem, Khokan Miah, Ansar constable Shahinoor, Driver constable Akbar, police sources Md. Jamal, Humayun Kabir , Harunur Rashid and 2 others.The case filed under section of BPC 448, 302, 380, 354 and 34 .
