Chittagong City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin became charmed over the witnessing of mango plant at PahartaliAgri Research centre in Chittagong on Tuesday .
Mayor visited the Agri Research cente at a function in observance of Horticulture Day as chief guest. He witnessed a new species of mango plant with output of three types of mango like Ripe mango, green mango and species of Guti mango. The species of this mango plant named Bari Manago-11.
City Mayor planted the species of new invented saplings of Bari Amm-11, sources said. Among others, chief scientific officer(Fruit Division) Dr. Madan Gopal Saha presided over the meeting while Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Md. ShamsulArefin, Agri Extension Officer Md. Giasuddin were present as special guest at the Agri Research Institute.
