Rotary International’s Multi district TRF seminar was held at Hotel Radisson in Dhaka on Friday.
Mr.CK Huang, Trustee Chairman of the Rotary International Foundation was the chief guest at the seminar. Presided over by Rotary Leader Shereen Bon. It was Addressed by Govornor Khairul Alam, Ataur Rahman Peer, Governor (elect) Rubayet Hossain, Dr. Belal Uddin Ahmed, Governor Nominee Mutasim Billah Farooqui, Abu Faiz Khan Chowdhury, PDG Dr. Mir Anisuzzaman and other leaders.
Rotary International, the largest organization to reach the doorstep of polio eradication in the world. In addition to polio, Rotary has been involved in numerous activities for the last 114 years in the service of humanity throughout the world.
The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International began its journey with a fund of just $ 26.5. Now, the foundation has grown into the world’s largest non-profit service organization with $ 1.3 billion in assets.
This money is mainly available for over 1.2 million Rotarians’ selfless donations worldwide. In addition, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has donated nearly $ 1 million to the Rotary Foundation so far in its efforts to cure polio. Speakers at the seminar mentioned Rotary TRF, the largest humanitarian organization in the world through providing services to the neglected people in various sectors.
