Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra registered their first victory in TVS Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football beating Swadhinata Krira Sangha by 2-1 goals in their match at Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj on Friday.
Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra took the 11th position collecting three points from five matches, while Swadhinata Krira Sangha took the ninth position bagging four points from as many matches.
It may be mentioned that Swadhinata Krira Sangha showed gimmick after beating reigning champions Bashundhara Kings by 2-1 goals in their opening match of the BPL Football.
After a barren first half, Swadhinata Krira Sangha’s Bosnian recruit Nedo Turkovic put his team ahead in the 55th minute of the play.
But ill-fated Swadhinata Krira Sangha failed to keep their lead as their defender Murad scored a suicidal goal in the 80th minute of the match (1-1).
After three minutes, Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra’s Japanese recruit Tetsuaki Misawa scored the match-winning goal for his team.
The sixth round matches of TVS Bangladesh Premier League Football will start on February 28.
