‘MuktiPin’ to archive Liberation War on digital map

With a view to archive the every minute incidents of the War of Liberation of Bangladesh in a single map, Priyo Limited has taken a move to build digital mapping platform “MuktiPin”.
Towards the journey, Priyo has opened a digital map dubbed “PriyoPins” with this unique feature “MuktiPin” in this month of victory where people can describe the untold histories of the War of Liberation pinning the specific location on the map of Bangladesh.
Chief Executive Officer of Priyo Limited Zakaria Swapan said the software will be remained open so people can pin the untold histories. “We have also been introduced mobile app so that interested anyone will be a part of this archive by pinning histories of our glorious War of the Liberation.”
MuktiPin is already open for the participants and anyone can pin right now through available digital devices. Participants can put a pin on a specific place of the digital map based on different war incident categories in the following webpage priyo.com/muktipin, said a press release on Monday.
To verify the accuracy of the history, Priyo limited has an advisory panel comprised of Professor Dr Anisuzzaman, Prof Dr Mohammad Kaykobad, Prof Dr Muhammed Zafar Iqbal and Dr Gowher Rizvi, among others.
Staring on December 1, the campaign will initially run up to February 28, 2018. The top 100 participants ranked on accurate pin will get Taka 10,000 each along with certificates and other gifts. Research institutes have already been registered for the operation.
To make the initiative successful, Priyo Mukti Pin event will conduct different types of campaigns such as road show, camping at prominent 130 war places in 64 districts. During the campaign, the organisation has planned to provide free internet to ensure participation of grassroots level people.
