Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra played out to a goalless draw with old Dhaka ‘outfit’ Farashganj Sporting Club in the ninth round of Saif Power Battery Bangladesh Premier League Football held on Tuesday at Bangabandhu National Stadium.
The first half of the match saw Muktijoddha Sangsad got several scoring chances but failed to convert any of those into a goal.
In the second half of the proceeding, the freedom fighters continued their onslaught but the old Dhaka ‘outfit’ Farashganj’s defenders kept brilliant display foiling some certain Muktijoddha’s attacks till the final whistle forcing them to share point.
Farashganj, however, got some real scoring chances to take lead but failed to convert lack of proper finishing.
