UNB, Dhaka :Muktijoddha Sangsad KC made a flying start in the Federation Cup Football Tournament crushing Uttar Baridhara Club by 4-0 goals at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Tuesday. Striker Enamul Haque scored twice, Mohammad Biplob and Anwar Hossain netted one each for the all red freedom fighters team, which dominated the first half by a solitary goal. Enamul Haque put Muktijoddha ahead in the 7th minute of the match by left footer from close (1-0). Midfielder Zahid Parvez curved a cross in the danger zone, Senegalese forward Camara Sababa chested the ball down for Enamul, who found the net by a left footer. Muktijoddha doubled the lead through their substitute forward Mohamamd Biplob in the 84th minute. Forward Enamul sent a through pass to Biplob who shot into the net beating Baridhara goalie Mohammad Rajib (2-0) Enamul scored his second and third goal for Muktijoddha in the 88th minute. Faisal Mahmud cut low cross from the right flank, Senegalese forward Carara paved the way for Enamul, who placed the ball into the net (3-0) Midfielder Anwar Hossain of Muktijoddha sealed fate of the match in added time of the match by a placing shot (4-0) Earlier, Uttar Baridhara got chance to score but midfielder Md. Javed’s long range shot was fisted away by Muktijoddha’s goalie Titumir Chowdhury at the cost of a corner.
