Premier Football: Muktijoddha beat Ctg Abahani

Coming from behind, Muktijoddha Sangsad KC registered their 2nd consecutive victory in the Manyavar Bangladesh Premier Football League beating Chittagong Abahani Ltd by 2-1 goals at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Sunday.
The freedom fighters’ team made a good start beating Feni Soccer Club by 2-1 goals in their first match.
With the day’s feat, Muktijoddha SKC have secured full six points from straight two matches while Chittagong Abahani are yet to open the account, playing same number of matches.
In the day’s first match, striker Sumon Ali put Chittagong Abahani ahead in the 45th minute by a low shot from goalmouth melee capitalising on a curved free kick of defender Mansur Alam from the right flank (1-0).
Striker Enamul Haque scored the equaliser for Muktijoddha Sangsad in the 53rd minute by a volley, utilising a long pass of Senegalese forward Camara Sarba (1-1).
Enamul confirmed the Muktijoddha’s victory scoring his 2nd goal in the 83rd minute by a close range shot when the ball came his way after Chittagong Abahani goalie Mohammad Ershad punched a header from Kanchan (2-1).
Earlier in the 76th minute, a header of Chittagong Abahani skipper Abdul Hannan Raju traveled over crosspiece off Camara Mamado cross.
