Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra continued their winning streak as they recorded their second victory in the Saif Power Battery Bangladesh Premier League Football beating Arambagh Krira Sangha by 2-0 goals held on Wednesday at Bangabandhu National Stadium.
The ball was mostly confined to the midfield in the first half. Both teams had opportunities but their forwards lines failed the find the mark.
After the barren first half, Amzad Ali broke the deadlock as he scored the first goal for Muktijoddha Sangsad in the 60th minute.
As the match moved into the last minute, Muktijoddha doubled the margin as Arambagh’s Arafat Hossain in a bid to clear the goal saw the ball ricochet into his own met in the 90th minute of the match.
This win saw Muktijoddha SKKC collected their points to six from three matches while Arambagh Krira Sangha were yet to collect any point playing the same number of outings.
