It was the time of 2002. Viewers became impressed to watch the performance of a ‘fire-lady’ in Minhazur Rahman’s directed a play titled Agnikonya on Ekushey Television.
After broadcasting the play everybody started to find out the actress during that time. By this way Mukti came into limelight to all.
Viewers were impressed to watch her acting against Tawquir Ahmed in that play. By this way Mukti started her acting journey in media.
While this correspondent asked her how is she now Mukti replied, “I am well, very well now. I am not regular in acting now. But when I get good story and role then I agree to work in TV play. In fact, I am eagerly waiting to act in a good film right now. If I get good story, good director and good character I want to show keen interest to acting in that film.”
It may be mentioned that Mukti’s acted first film was Hasibul Islam Mizan’s directed Tumi Achho Hridoye. Kayes Arju performed against her in the film. Mukti’s acting was highly appreciated to the viewers and its playback songs became popular.
After 2007, Mukti again acted in another film titled Jor Korey Bhalobasha Hoina against Shakib Khan under the direction of Shahadat Hossain Liton. From that time to till now she has been waiting to perform in a good film.
Already Mukti has acted in two new plays titled Somorgro Poribar Ek Ton, directed by Shahid-un-Nabi, and Harmony, directed by Simit Roy Antor. These two plays will be telecasted soon.
Born on May 5 Mukti now staying in her grnadfather’s house in Doulatpur, Khulna.
She went there along with her family members for travelling.
She will return to Dhaka after eight days. Later she will again become engage with acting, Mukti said.
While asking about her marriage Mukti said, “When Allah wants I will tie the nuptial knot. Everybody pray for me as I can get my life-partner according to my demand.”
