An introductory meeting of the convening committee of Muktagacha Upazila and Municipality under Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in Mymensingh district was held at noon on Saturday (October 2) at the banglow of former state minister for energy and mineral resources AKM Mosharraf Hossain. Senior Joint Convener of Mymensingh (South) District BNP, Alhaj Zakir Hossain Bablu, was present as the chief guest at the introductory meeting. Former MP Advocate Abu Reza Fazlul Haque Bablu was the special guest.
At the meeting President Upazila BNP convener Md. Habibur Rahman Khan Ratan, Conducted by Joint Convener AKM Jahangir Hasan In the speech of the chief guest at the introductory meeting Alhaj Zakir Hossain Bablu said that everyone should prepare for a brutal movement against the fascist government. This time there will be such a movement with the people, the government will be forced to resign and hold a neutral election.
There is no soil under the feet of the government; people are restless due to their corruption, misrule and oppression. They are creating controversy to make resolved issues and non-issues to divert people’s attention to different sectors for fear of movement and collapse. That is why the ministers have started a competition of lies about Shaheed Zia’s body, shrine and contribution to the liberation war. In fact, they have no politics. In the ideology of Shaheed Zia, strong organizations have to be formed in the neighborhoods, mahallas and villages. In this movement, the country’s leader Begum Khaleda Zia must be released, Tarique Rahman must be brought back, democracy must be established.
