Muktagacha Upazila BNP Convener Md. Habibur Rahman Khan Ratan has strongly protest the news published in various online, print and electronic media on 6 this month under the headline “Press conference demanding cancellation of Muktagacha BNP’s convening committee”. The news is completely baseless, fabricated, untrue and imaginary Inconsistent through data presentation published the news, Ratan claimed. He also said that in the news it is clear that there is a despicable attempt to question his image and the chain of command of the party.
Muktagacha Upazila BNP Convener in a statement on Sunday said that, some quarters are engaged in this conspiracy in the hope of joining hands with the Awami League government and taking advantage of the government’s opportunities. It is a small convening committee. Later, when there will be a committee, the committee will be formed with the people elected by direct vote.
Hopefully, those who have already worked hard for the team from the field, who have worked, will not be left out then.
No dedicated leader or activist of the BNP can say that this committee violates the party discipline. ‘To humiliate me politically and socially an insidious group has spread propaganda in my name. I strongly protest the published news’, Ratan claimed.
