Meherpur district administration has launched a programme titled “Mujib Borshe Shoto Ghonta Mujib Chorcha” (Practicing ideals of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman for hundred hours in Mujib Year) through a virtual conference marking the 45th martyrdom anniversary of the Father of the Nation.
Prime Minister’s Energy, Power and Mineral Resources Adviser Dr Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury, Bir Bikram inaugurated the programme recently as chief guest, said a press release. State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain also addressed the program as special guest.
Under this activity, the local administration will hold discussion for 100 hours on different occasions until March, 2021 through virtual platform, where renowned historian, novelist, politician and Freedom Fighters.
