Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith will leave here tonight for attending the 40th session of the “International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) Governing Council” to be held from February 14 to 15 in Rome.
Before reaching in Rome, the finance minister will visit Oxford University and Sonali Bank Branch in London on February 11 to 12, said an official release.
He will reach Rome on February 13 from London after joining a reception programme organizes by Bangladesh Dispoara there on February 12 evening.
He is expected to return home on February 16, the release added.
IFAD, a specialized agency of the United Nations, was established as an international financial institution in 1977 as one of the major outcomes of the 1974 World Food Conference.
