Muhammad Abdullah new Secretary of Industry Ministry

Muhammad Abdullah, has joined as the new secretary of Ministry of Industries on Wednesday. Prior to joining the new post, he served as Secretary in the Election Commission Secretariat, said a press release.
Muhammad Abdullah was born on 28 February 1960 in Jamalpur. His father’s name is Mosir Uddin Ahmed and mother’s name is Rajia khatun. He obtained his Masters Degree in Statistics from Dhaka University. He belongs to B.C.S. (Adm)1984 batch. He has vast working experience both in field and secretariat level. Abdullah worked as Upazila Magistrate in Chunarughata and Baniyachong, Habiganj and Hazigonj, Chandpur. He performed his duties as Revenue Deputy Collector in Natore and Dhaka. As Upazila Nirbahi Officer, he renderd his duties in Bhola Sadar and Louhogonj in Munshigonj. After that he joined Ministry of Public Administration and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as Senior Assistant Secretary and Deputy Secretary respectively.
Abdullah has a very brilliant and colorful Professional Career. After performing his duties as Deputy Commissioner in Khagrachori he joined Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Limited as Managing Director.
