UNB, Khulna :
An alleged mugger was killed in a gunfight between his cohorts and police at Kobla in Terokhada upazila on Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Babul Molla,38, son of Halim Molla, a resident of Biljuria village of the same upazila. Police said local people of Chhaglada village of the upazila caught three muggers- Babul Molla, Sagor Sheikh and Shanto-while they were entering the
village after looting Tk15 lakh from one betel leaf trader Nitish Kumar of Narail at about 5:00 pm and informed police.
Later, police arrested the trio.
