MT Monoara incurs Tk 10cr loss in 3 yrs owning to Jamuna Oil’s internal dispute

Oil tanker MT Monowara , a member of Jamuna Oil company ‘s transport fleet incur loss of Tk. three crore in last three years due to internal rift of the state owned Oil sector (Jamuna Oil), as alleged.
The allegation is that the MT Monowara oil tanker is not being added to the transport fleet due to bureaucratic complications among the officials o Jumuna Oil and various marathons to injure one side and the other side of the Jamuna Oil Company officials. As a result, Abul Kalam Oil Suppliers, the owner of MT Monowara, is on the verge of bankruptcy due to the monthly salaries and allowances of 22 sailors and the huge debt burden.
Tanker owner Abul Kalam made the allegation at a press conference at Chattogram Press Club on Saturday (December 19). At the press conference, younger son of Abul Kalam Md.
