Kishoreganj District Police arrested Maulana Md. Toyebuzzaman, the chief co-coordinator of Jamaat-e Islami’s Mymensingh region on Monday night.
He is also Principal of Mongalbaria Alia Madrasha at Pakundia.
Additional Police Super Syed Abu Sayem said that
the Maulana was allegedly involved with subvewrsive activities, including setting fire to transports. He was also involved with petrol bomb attacks on innocent people.
