Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited posted a 3-1 goal victory over Chittagong Abahani Limited in the Manyavar Bangladesh Premier Football League held on Monday at the MA Aziz Stadium in Chittagong.
In the day’s match, striker Choumrin Rakhain put the port city team ahead in the 27th minute of the match (1-0) while Guineas forward Ismael Bangoura restored the parity for Mohammedan in the 66th minute (1-1).
Mohammedan again went ahead through their defender Mintu Sheikh in the 79th minute (2-1) while Forward Tawhidul Alam Sabuz complited the tally for the traditional black & white Motijheel ‘outfit’ in the injury time of the second half (3-1).
With the day’s victory, Mohammedan took their tally to 29 points from 11 matches while Chittagong Abahani remained their previous credit of 5 points playing the same number of outings.
