The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Wednesday submitted charge- sheets in two graft cases, dropping the name of Yusuf Ali Mridha, suspended General Manager (GM) of Railway Eastern Zone.
With this, the Commission dropped his name from six graft cases.
ACC Deputy Director Nasir Uddin Chowdhury
submitted the charge-sheet to the Chittagong Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court.
ACC Special Public Prosecutor Mahmudul Huq said that the charge-sheets in separate cases filed in connection with scam in appointment in the posts of data entry control operator and carpenter, dropped Mridha’s name.
ACC filed the cases with Chittagong’s Kotwali Police Station on April 17 in 2013.
