Deputy Speaker of Jatiya Sangsad M Fazle Rabbi Mian said all members of parliament should have the knowledge about the Rules of Procedure.
“Every member of Parliament must have the knowledge about the parliamentarian procedure and they must be clear about the ‘rules of procedure’ before joining the Parliament session,” he said.
He said this on Friday while speaking as the chief guest at a workshop for journalists on ‘Reporting on Parliamentary Affairs News’ organised by Dhaka Reporters Unity at its auditorium.
DRU President Shakhawat Hossain Badsha was also present with Training and Research secretary Kazi Sohag in the chair.
The Deputy Speaker urged the reporters to inspire the people to work for country’s development, so that Bangladesh might become a country of higher-middle income within three years under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
