Gazipur-4, Kapasia MP Simeen Hussain Rimi along with her family members has been infected with corona. Rimi was admitted to the private United Hospital in the capital on Tuesday.
Upazila Awami League president former MP Muhammad Shahidullah and Rimi’s husband Mostaq Hossain confirmed the matter. They said Rimi submitted the sample on March 25 to attend Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s function. The next day her report came positive. Other family members were later tested positive for Corona.
He was admitted to the hospital after his blood oxygen level dropped slightly.
The boys are taking treatment at home with their wives.
