Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque expressed profound shock at the death of Razia Samad, daughter of Abdus Samad, first Defence Secretary of the then Mujibnagar government. In a condolence message on Thursday, the minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family, said a press release.
Liberation War Affairs Secretary S M Arifur Rahaman also expressed shock at the death of Razia Samad.
Razia Samad died in Washington, USA on Wednesday last.
