General Secretary of Chittagong City BNP, Chittagong Dr. Shahdat Hossain said , the movement of the BNP led oppositions would not be stopped by confining the party Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and govt will have to face consequences for the undemocratic behavior against the party chief.
He was addressing the protest rally against the govt’s atrocity on Begum Zia held at Nasimon Bhaban premises yesterday. He further said sensing the popularity of the BNP chairperson, govt confined her in Gulshan BNPoffice from Sunday .
Chief Guest in the rally former whip Wahidul Alam said the ruling party is walking towards the path of fascists and they want to turn the country into a Baksali state of one man show.
Among others city Jubodal senior joint secretary Md. Shahed, central Chhatra Dal former Organizing Secretary Kamrul Islam, city jubodal leadr Abdul Kader, Saiful Islam and Rafiqul islam were present in it.
