The professionals of different stages in Chittagong called upon govt to establish High court circuit bench in the port city. The speakers in a round table meet also expressed to meet the President and the Prime Minister despite assurance of the Chief Justice recently. Bangladesh Professional Parishad and Bangladesh Human Rights commission, Chittagong jointly arranged the round table meet at Chittagong Press Club auditorium on Saturday.
Convener of High court Circuit Bench Implementation Council , chittagong and district PP Adv Abul Hashem presided over the RT. Advocate Abul Hashem said demand of circuit bench in Chittagong is the major demand of Chittagong and said Prime Minister is very much cordial towards chittagong.
We hope Prime Minister will meet our heartfelt demand , he said. Among others President of Ctg University Teachers Association Prof. Dr. Sekander Chowdhury, General secretary Khasru Ahmed Siddique, member of Bar council Advocate Ibrahim Hossain Chowdhury Babul, General secretary of Press Cub Mohsin Chowdhury, former PP Advocate Kafil Uddin Ahmed &Humayun Kabir , former general secretary district Lawyers Association Ratan Kumar Roy , General secretary of Bar Association Adv. Enamul Hoque , former legislator Mahfuzul Hoque Shah, former chairman of CWASA Engr. Md. Ishaque, industrialist Sirajul Islam Kumo, member secretary HC Circuit Bench Implementation council Sankar Prasad Dey spoke on the occasion.
