A faction of pro-Awami League (AL) teachers of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) continued their movement demanding immediate removal of its Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Aminul Haque Bhuyan from his post.
The teachers were continuing the agitation for the fifteenth consecutive day on Monday. They also kept the VC’s office under lock and key and held a sit-in programme there in the afternoon.
They alleged the VC was involved in corruption, nepotism, financial opacity, irregularity and also misbehaved with teachers.
