Popular face of the small screen Moutushi Biswas for the first time worked under the direction of the National Film award winner actress and director Rokeya Prachi.
Moutsuhi acted under Prachi’s direction in a telefilm titled Rubina Amena Phulki. Shooting of the telefilm began on Sunday in a residence in the city’s Eskaton area.
In the telefilm, Rokeya Prachi is acting in role of house owner Rubina, while Moutushi is playing the role of a maid servant named Amena.
Newcomer actress Sheuly is also acting in role of Phulki in the telefilm. Lutfar Rahman George is also playing the role Amena’s husband who most of the time tries to torture his wife.
While talking about the telefilm Rokeya Prachi told this correspondent, “In the telefilm, George Bhai is acting in role of Bashir Bhai. Though he looks simple but he has engagement with smuggling in different areas in the capital. His wife does not know it. But he catches red handed. I have selected Moutushi in role of his wife because of her physical structure and acting skill. I think in role of Amena, Moutushi is trying to portray her character properly while acting. I believe it is a challenging work for me. I hope viewers will enjoy watching the telefilm.”
Actress Moutushi shared her feelings by this way, “It is my first work with Prachi Apa. I have already taken part in several shots. Apa is such a director who knows well what she is doing. She has cooperated me well while briefing about my role in the telefilm. I can work in her telefilm comfortably. I am really satisfied with her direction.”
Rokeya Prachi informed that the telefilm will be aired in any satellite channel soon.
Meanwhile, Moutushi is now also engaged with acting in three serials – Alvi Ahmed’s Corporate, SA Haque Alik’s Ayna Ghor and Masud Sezan’s Choltechhey Circus.
