Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
Last year on September 28, popular Bangladeshi singer Moutushi Partho rendered songs on RTV’s musical show Music Station to pay tribute to legendary singer of the Subcontinent Lata Mangeshkar on her birthday.
September 8 was birthday of Lata’s younger sister, one of the legendary singers of the Subcontinent Asha Bhosle. This time to pay tribute to her, Moutushi Partho will also perform in a live musical show titled Music Club on Banglavision tonight.
Moutushi will render Asha Bhosle’s popular songs in the live musical show from 11:00pm to 2:00am on Banglavision.
While talking in this regard Moutushi told this correspondent, “Yesterday Ashaji turned into 82. To pay tribute to her, I will render her several number of popular Hindi and Bangla songs at Music Club tonight on Banglavision. For the last few days I was practicing Ashaji’s songs to render her songs properly in the programme. I believe listeners will enjoy the songs. I request all to watch the programme and also to pray for me and for my family.”
It may be mentioned that six years ago, Moutushi’s last solo album titled Kotha Dila 101 was released under the banner of World Music. Her first solo album titled Mishti Meyer Mishti Gaan was released under the banner of Don Music in 1993. She has 10 solo albums in the market.
While talking about her new solo album Moutushi said, “Now there is no raeson to release any album. Earlier every year we released albums. We got inspirations from those released albums. Production houses communicated with us for their own interests. They took the responsibility of the publicity of those albums. Audio market was full of activity. Now singers release their albums by own way. They bear all expenses of their albums. It is not possible for me to do it right now. For this reason, I have no specific plan to release any new album at present.”
