TV plays, telefilms and other forms of media, those are designed to inspire the people to love their country, have always been appreciated by the viewers. Likewise, many noted and talented playwrights and producers produce special drama and telefilm based on the story related to special days like International Mother Language Day, Independence Day and Victory Day.
Keeping up with the tradition, Sumon Anwar has produced a special telefilm titled Natoker Juddho, Juddher Natok for the upcoming Victory Day. Popular actress Mousumi Hamid has played a lead role in the telefilm which has been influenced by Bangabandhu’s historic 7th March speech during the country’s Liberation War.
Under the direction of Sumon Anwar, the shooting of the drama ended a couple of days ago, which was shot in various locations of Pubail of Gazipur.
The drama revolves on how it becomes the final wakeup call for the Bengali to participate in the Liberation War after the speech of Bangabandhu on March 7.
The story opens with a suburb theatre group plans to stage a play based on the 7th March speech. But while doing so, they face the drama of life which becomes much more complex than the drama on the stage.
While talking about the special play Mousumi Hamid told this correspondent, “Natoker Juddho, Juddher Natok is such a drama that I was thrilled all the time to enact my character entering into the depth of it during the shooting. I was diving into my role unknowingly. Realising the time of war, I have tried to act in the telefilm. All I can say that the audience should watch a drama like this with their own interest.”
Apart from Mousumi Hamid in a key role, the cast of the drama includes Sajjad Reza, Maznun Mizan, Nayeem, Shamol Maula and others. The drama will be aired on Banglavision on coming December 16.
