Popular film actress Moushumi has been elected in the post of an executive committee member in the election of Bangladesh Film Actors’ Association which was held on May 5.
But on July 3, she wrote an application to its newly elected president to quit her post from the present committee.
In her application Moushumi wrote, “Due to some reasons it is not possible for me to continue my duties with this post. For this reason, I am interest to resign from my post.”
Members of the Association became astonished after knowing Moushumi’s decision. But it was heard that Moushumi is going to resign. There was much chaos regarding the election. Despite winning in the election she is not interested to continue to work with this committee.
It is mentioned that in the election, Moushumi’s husband hero Omar Sani contested for the post of president but he failed to win. Omar Sani claimed that this election opened his eyes clearly. Now he realised many things. Both Moushumi and Sani are confused to contest in next election.
