After a break of 12 years viewers’ choice popular actress Moushumi is going to work in a new movie under the direction of Montazur Rahman Akbar. In the middle of February, Moushumi will take part in shooting of Akbar’s movie Dulabhai Jindabad. She will act in role of Dipjal’s wife in the movie. It was confirmed by Moushumi herself yesterday morning.
Under the production of Rajesh Films and to be produced by Nadir Khan, Abdullah Zahir Babu wrote story of the movie. By this movie Moushumi will work Akbar directed 14th movie in her career.
While talking about the movie Moushumi told this correspondent, “I have liked script of the movie. Still now often I get many scripts to work. But I am now very much choosy to work in big screen. So when any script does not attract me I do not agree to work. I have full respect and confidence on Akbar bhai and his direction. I believe it will be a nice work.”
Director Montazur Rahman Akbar said, “After 12 years Moushumi is going to work in my movie. In fact, I couldn’t realize how those years passed. I couldn’t think anybody except Moushumi for acting in the role in this movie.”
Meanwhile, Moushumi is now passing busy times for campaign of her husband Omar Sani’s election. Sani will contest for the post of president in the election of Bangladesh Actors’ Association.
In 1995, Moushumi first acted under Montazur Rahman Akbar’s direction in movie Baghini Konya against Bapparaz.
In 2004, she last worked under his direction in movie Bhai-er Shotru Bhai. Meanwhile, within very short time, Moushumi will act under Kazi Hayat’s movie Ghum.
