Popular actress Moushumi Hamid prefers to work in multidimensional roles. In case of TV plays or telefilms, she always likes to work in those roles where there is scope to play with the characters. For this reason, Moushumi is not in favour of working round the month. She is satisfied to act in few numbers because these must have quality. In the beginning of her career, her thinking was like this. Her colleagues always appreciate her acting.
Right now Moushumi Hamid is in Bali, Indonesia. She has already finished shooting of a play titled Emono Hoi directed by Sakhawat Manik under the story written by Syed Iqbal.
In the play, the role of Moushumi Hamid is Sara who was sold by her boyfriend in Indonesia after trapped. Later, Sara’s solo challenging life started. At one stage, Shyamol Mawla and Niloy extended their hands towards her.
While talking about acting in the play Moushumi Hamid told this correspondent over mobile phone from Bali yesterday, “Sakhawat Manik’s direction I worked earlier. He works in organised way. It is good thing to work outside the country is locations are good which fills up my mind. We worked joyfully there. I believe viewers will enjoy the play.”
Moushumi Hamid also informed that she will also take part in shooting of five other plays under the direction of Sakhawat Manik, Asaduzzaman Asad and Fuad. After shooting she will return to Bangladesh on January 30. After returning she will take part in scheduled shooting here. Her acted serial Ghore Baire directed by Nazrul Islam Raju is being aired on Maasranga TV now.
