After a break of 10 years or one-decade, popular film actress Moushumi worked together with legendary film actor ATM Shamsuzzaman in a movie. They performed together in Habibul Islam Habib’s directed a movie titled Ratrir Jatri.
Moushumi acted in role of wife of ATM Shamsuzzaman’s son in the film. Ten years ago, Moushumi also performed in same role in Salauddin Lavlu’s Molla Barir Bou.
Later 10 years break, Moushumi again performed in role of wife of ATM Shamsuzzaman’s son in this movie. Shooting of Ratrir Jatri is going on at Pubail in Gazipur now.
While talking about Moushumi ATM Shamsuzzaman told this correspondent, “Moushumi is that type of actress in film industry by whom any director couldn’t utilise her capability properly in their films. Her acting skill is really outstanding. I believe Habibul Islam Habib will utilise Moushumi’s acting skill properly and she will give us more beautiful movies one after another in the long run. Directors should use not only Moushumi’s glamarous face but also her acting quality and skill. By this way Moushumi’s acting skill can be used properly in the films.”
While sharing her feelings about ATM Shamsuzzaman, Moushumi told this correspondent, “He is an outstanding and superb actor. It is not the only definition to express his acting quality. He loves the film industry and movies very much. I always like to work with him in films. But ATM uncle doesn’t like to act in films because he is a creative performer. He prefers to give direction. We, who are working in the film industry, got many things about acting from him. If he remains well we can get many things from him. I have better understanding to work with him. It is really a great luck for me to work with him in film Ratrir Jatri.”
Moushumi is acting in the title role of Ratrir Jatri, which story and script were also written by its director Habibul Islam Habib.
It may be mentioned that with ATM Shamsuzzaman Moushumi first acted in Amzad Hossain directed a film titled Adorer Sontan.
Later she acted with him in several movies.
However, Moushumi acted last released film was Ek Cup Cha. She has already finished shooting of Belal Ahmed’s Bhalobashboi To and Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar’s Mon Janena Moner Thikana.
Besides acting, shooting of Moushumi directed a movie titled Shunnyo Hridoy is going on now.
