Mourinho meets Raul Sanllehi about replacing Emery at Arsenal

Unai Emery is hanging on to the Arsenal job by a thread.
After a satisfactory first season, the proverbial has well and truly hit the fan in north London and it seems as though the Spaniard is just a few games away from getting the sack.
Despite only losing to Liverpool and Sheffield United in the league, the Gunners have stumbled to five draws and more dropped points came against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
As a result, rumours are swirling around that Arsenal are looking for a potential replacement and Jose Mourinho has been one of the most common names thrown around.
The ‘Special One’ has gone almost a year away from management, having been sacked in his third season at Manchester United, and is now itching for a return to the technical area.
Mourinho has proven his uncanny knack to win trophies at both United and across two spells with Chelsea, while also proving his pedigree at Porto, Inter Milan and Real Madrid.
But would Arsenal be the right job if Emery was sacked? Well, that’s a question that should be taken very seriously because a new report in The Times has added new weight to the situation.
Duncan Castles wrote on Saturday night that Arsenal are actively considering an approach for Mourinho and are ‘preparing the ground’ for an impending change in management.
Arsenal are said to be searching for a man with great knowledge of the Premier League and someone who, unlike Emery, can communicate seamlessly with the squad.
