Mouni Roy has had a smooth transition from the small screen to the movies. She made her debut opposite Akshay Kumar in Gold and then she appeared with John Abraham in RAW. Her next is Made in China with Rajkummar Rao. But her biggest and most challenging film is yet to come. She is going to be seen in Dharma Productions Brahmastra, where she will be sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
Talking to a daily, the pretty actress spoke about her role in the much awaited film by director Ayan Mukerji. She told that she is playing a villain in the film and it was quite challenging for her, especially because she was to show rage in front of the legend, Amitabh Bachchan. Opening up about playing the antagonist, Mouni said, “As a villain, you have to obviously show fury and enmity towards them. That was extremely tough because I have looked up to Amitabhji as a hero ever since my teenage years. Not only was I performing in front of him but also had to show rage. For this, I had to prepare myself a lot! It was hard but now I really look forward to seeing it on the screen. The audience will see me in a new avatar.”
