Tribunal indicts five M’bazar war criminals

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 on Thursday framed five charges of crimes against humanity against five alleged war criminals from Moulvibazar.“Let January 15, 2017, be fixed for opening statement and examination of prosecution witnesses,” said Justice Anwarul Haque, chairman of the three-member panel of the ICT-1.The five accused are Shamsul Hossain Tarafder alias Ashraf, 65, Md Nesar Ali, 75, Mobarak Mia, 66, Yunus Ahmed, 71, and Md Ujer Ahmed Chowdhury, 63.
