A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed among the ICT Division, telecom operator Robi and ICT solution provider Huawei Technologies Ltd aiming to provide basic ICT training to 240,000 young women across the country .
ICT Division’s Joint Secretary Md. Manjur Kadir, Robi’s Chief Operating Officer Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Ltd’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Zhao Haofu signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations at the ICT Division on Sunday.
State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak was present on the occasion.
Under the 3-year project, six buses, fully equipped with modern ICT training facilities, will be deployed to offer ICT training to the women who cannot move from their native locality due to various socio-economic constraints.
