A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed among Access to Information (a2i) Programme, Press Institute of Bangladesh(PIB) and Department of Mass Communication (DMC) on Sunday aiming to promote publicity campaign across the country.
Project Director of a2i programme of Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Kabir Bin Anwar, PIB Director General Md Shah Alamgir and DMC Director General Kamrun Nahar signed the MoU at a function at the PMO behalf of their respective organizations, a press release said on Monday.
Under the MoU, a2i programme, PIB and DMC will work together to launch massive publicity campaign aiming to supplement the efforts of the government to build “Digital Bangladesh”. Training programmes will be arranged for journalists to educate them on different aspects of “Digital Bangladesh”
Besides, development oriented-programmes including workshop and meetings also will be organized through DMC to disseminate information among the people.
