Higher Secondary Stipend Project (HSSP) of Education Ministry signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with state-owned telecom operator Teletalk on Sunday to distribute mobile phone SIM cards free of cost among the stipend-awarded students.
HSSP Director Shyama Prasad Bepari and Teletalk Bangladesh Limited Managing Director Kazi Md. Golam Quddus signed the MoU on behalf of their respective sides at the ministry’s conference room in the city, said an official release.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid and State Minister for Post and Telecommunications Tarana Halim were present in the MoU signing ceremony.
