A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in an effort to achieve excellence in the country’s marine education and research.
The MoU was signed between Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University (BSMRMU), a specialized government maritime university, and Dockyard and Engineering Works Limited of Narayanganj on Monday aiming to accelerate the country’s shipbuilding industries.
BSMRMU Register Commodore M Abidur Rahman and Managing Director of Dockyard and Engineering Works Limited M Khurshid Malik signed the MoU on behalf of the respective sides.
On the occasion, BSMRMU Vice-Chancellor Rear Admiral ASM Abdul Baten and other senior officials were present.
