Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) and Brac IT Services Ltd (bits) signed an MOU recently. According to this MOU Brac IT Services Ltd and Northern University Bangladesh will be involved in different activities that will be mutually beneficial for both the institutions. According to the MOU, biTS will provide internship offer for NUB graduates, arrange mock interview for NUB students amongst many others. Similarly, Northern University Bangladesh will be involved in employer branding of Brac IT Services Ltd.
Chairman of NUB Trust Prof Dr Abu Yousuf Abdullah was present at the event along with the Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Anwar Hossain, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Anwarul Karim, Director, Development and International Affairs Lt Col Aqtedar Ahmed Siddiqui (Ret), Treasurer Md. Anwar Hossain and Registrar Md. Rashidul Islam. Representing Brac IT Services Ltd, were Head of HR and Communications Ismat Jahan, Head of Financial Solutions Bikash Kumar Nandi and Associate Manager Md. Tasaufur Rahman. Vice Chancellor of NUB Prof Dr Anwar Hossain signed the MOU, while Ismat Jahan, Head of HR and Communications signed on behalf of biTS. The two witnesses were Erfan Haque, Manager, Development and Operations, Marketing, Promotions and Branding Department representing NUB and Md. Tasaufur Rahman, Associate Manager, Human Resources and Communication representing biTS.
Both parties expressed their contentment with the MOU signing. The collaboration will bring positive outcomes for both NUB and biTS and will open doors of numerous possibilities.
