Dhaka University (DU) and Macquarie University, Australia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday at the Vice-Chancellor’s Office.
DU Treasurer Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin and Macquarie University Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr James KW Lee signed this MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique, Professor of the Department of Soil, Water and Environment Dr SM Imamul Huq, Acting Registrar Syed Rezaur Rahman, Regional Director of Macquarie University Matt Monkhouse and Senior Country Manager Tanveer Shaheed were present on this occasion.
According to the MoU, Dhaka University and Macquarie University will exchange students, officials, academic materials and information. The two universities will also conduct research activities and organize seminars, conferences and academic meetings jointly.
