In order to promote education and research on renewable energy at Dhaka University (DU), a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between DU and Korea Electronic Technology Institute (KETI) was signed on Wednesday at a simple ceremony held at the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban of the university.
Vice-Chancellor (VC) of DU Professor Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique and President of KETI Kim Kyung Won signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
Treasurer of DU Prof. Dr. Md Kamal Uddin, Ambassador of Korea in Bangladesh Lee Yun Young, Director of KETI Kang Byoung Mo, and Director of the Institure of Energy (IE) of DU Prof. Dr Sekul Islam were present on this occasion.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique in his speech thanked the KETI authorities for signing the MoU and highly expressed that students, teachers and researchers of Dhaka University would be benefited by this MoU.
