A motorcycle rider was killed in a road accident at Chakrabati Bus-stand area on the Dhaka-Tangail highway under Ashulia thana on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was Muzibur Rahman, 42, an employee of GSM Apparel Limited and inhabitant of Gorail area of the thana. Police said the accident occurred when a bus hit Mozibur in the area at about 9.30 am when he was going to his office by a motorcycle. He died on the spot.
