A motor workshop and a jute godown of garments wastages gutted into ashes in the port city on Friday evening. The fire incident occurred at Kadamtali bus station area under double mooring thana.
The incident occurred at about 3 pm sharp. Fire services sorces said properties about Tk.2 lakh gutted in the fire. The fire originated fro m electric short circuit while lifting the water from the water reservoir of the workshop named B-Amanat workshop, fire services sources said.
