A motor cyclist was killed on the spot and two co-riders were seriously injured when their motor cycle collided head on with a loaded truck on Khulna-Mongla Highway near at Katakhali bus stand under Fakirhat Upazila in Bagerhat district on Tuesday mid night (at about 12 pm). The deceased was identified as Shuvo Datta alias Dipu (22), son of one Dipok Datta from village Baraidanga within Lokpur Union under Fakirhat Upazila. The injured persons are Tipu and Hridoy. They were admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital for their treatment. The deceased and injured persons are the employees of Lokpur J K Transport.
