A motorcyclist was killed and one other injured in a road accident at Baluchara area under Bayazid thana on Monday morning.
The deceased was identified as M Farid, 36, was a shopkeeper in the area and the injured identified as Mahim, 14. Nayek Amir Hossain from Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outpost confirmed the news.
He said a speedy rider hit him while he was carrying Mahim in his motorcycle around 10:00am. Seriously injured Farid was rushed to CMCH where on duty doctors declared him dead.
