Motijheel Model School & College of boys’ division and Sunnydale of girls’ division won titles of the Hurrah Mini School Handball tournament (boys & girls) beating their respective rivals in the final held on Friday at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium.
In the boys’ division final, Motijheel Model School & College beat Dhaka Residential School by 5-0 goals while Sunnydale School defeated Shaheed Bir Uttam Lieutenant Anwar Girls’ School by 5-2 goals in the girls’ division final.
Earlier on the day, Motijheel Model School & College moved to the final as they eliminated Shaheed Police Smrity College by 14-3 goals in the boys’ division semi-finals while Sunnydale defeated the Aga Khan School by 5-1 goals in the girls’ division semi-final.
Youth and Sports Secretary Asadul Islam was present as the chief guest in the finals and later he distributed the prizes.
