Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) detained drug traders- mother and son- with 53 kilograms of ganja from Solasahar Masjid colony area on thursdayThe detainee were identified as Aysha Begum,50 and her son Mohammad Eskandor,26, hailed from Dholoy village of Hathazari upazilaof Chittagong.
Police recovered 53 kilograms of ganja after searching the residence of arrestees at solasahar masjid colony under Panchlish thana and arrested the mother and son in this connection.
A case in connection was lodged with the concerned thana under Narcotics Act, sources said.
