Detectives in a drive arrested a woman and her son allegedly along with 2,000 Yaba tablets from Bhatara village in Saturia upazila early Friday.
The arrestees were identified as Ayesha Begum, 48, and her son Sohagh Shikder, 25, hailing from Barishal district. They had long been living at the Bhatara village and running Yaba business, police said. Aminul Islam, officer-in-charge of district Detective Branch of police, said a DB team raided their house in the early hours on a tip-off and arrested them with the Yaba pills.
